Every state in the US has a couple of dog parks. The dog parks vary in size and rules. Some are off-leash and others are on-leash, each one is a little bit different than the others. Bea Arthur Dog Park offers one acre of fun and games. They have toys, a ramp for swimming, and much more. On the plus side, it is in the back yard of PETA's headquarters. Riverside Park in New York is a park that offers the apartment dogs a break. They have on-leash and off-leash areas. If your dog doesn't want to play, you can both go for a four mile walk along the river. The next park is Warren G. Magnuson Park is 9 acres of ball chasing and splashing around fun for all of the dogs. They have no size limits per area.
Totoredaca Leash Free Park is an accommodating park. The park's name is a hard one to pronounce, so they call it Toto Park. Toto Park offers an agility course for your pet, with a wading pool for when the dogs get hot. On the cold days at the park, they have places to build a fire to keep warm while your furry friend plays. When the sun is shining, they have tables with umbrellas to sit under. Rocky Top Dog Park is 2 acres of tree topping fun. This park is surrounded by trees with grass to walk on. They also have a waterfall and pond to swim to your dog's delight. The Rocky Top also offers a service in which they pick up your pooch and take them to the park while you are at work. When the work day has ended, they bring your dog back home.
Tompkins Square Park is an off-leash only park. This park gets crowded, so your dog might think they don't belong. If you give it a chance, they should get used to the surroundings and realize it is for them too. This park is private.
